Assam State Higher Education Admission Portal is one and only online admission portal for the students who wants to pursue higher studies in the colleges of Assam. The Assam State Higher Education Admission Portal for the year 2024 has been launched to facilitate admissions to undergraduate programs across all universities in Assam for the academic session 2024-25. This initiative, under the Department of Higher Education Assam, aims to create a unified platform that offers equal opportunities to candidates from all corners of the state, including rural and remote areas. By launching the online  admission process through a single portal known as SAMARTH, it seeks to enhance connectivity with the universities and ensure broader participation of candidates in the admission process to Assam State Universities.
