DARPAN Online Admission portal for Assam. The University of Assam has started the online admission process to undergraduate programme for the 2024-25 academic year. The online admission process begun of April, 2024. Students successfully cleared the HSLC examination with to apply are requested to visit the AHSEC official admission portal which is also known as DARPAN. The ahsec education council will faciliate the admission process to the government colleges and institutions of the university through the Centralized allotment process. HS 1st Year Online Admission

Step 1: Visit the DARPAN official website or Ahsec official website.

Step 2: Click on the students Admission link.

Step 3: A portal will load, click on Register a new Account link.

Step 4: Next you need to enter your personal and educational details as required by the portal.

Step 5: Upload scan copy of passport sized photograph and 10th mark sheet.

Step 6: Next choose a 4 digit Login PIN and click on register button .

Step 7: Next again click on HS 1st Year Online Admission link and log in again.

Step 8: Select your desired course and colleges/ schools . You may choose maximum five institutions in order of their preference for admission.

Step 9: At the end, click on submit button and take a print of submitted form for future reference .

Step 10: Please do check the portal regularly for updates. You will be notified through the portal which institution(s) you have been selected for admission.

HS 1st Year Online Admission 2024- Admission Merit List

As per the schedule, the education council will publish a merit base allontment list by the end of this month, 2024. The registration process will conclude on April 2024. The ahsec will release the first allotment list on May 2024 on the basis of Merit though this information is not confirm yet. Students who are allotted a seat in the first list have to pay the university fee through online mode for confirmation of allotment and for rearranging or deleting higher options between April or May. The university will release the second allotment list on the next month. Students who will be allotted a seat in the second list will go through the same procedure of submission of fee for confirmation. The process will take place from May 2024 to June.

How to check the merit list on DARPAN Online Admission portal

Students who has submitted their online applications through DARPAN for admission in to Higher Secondary 1st year under Assam Higher Secondary Education Council will be able to check their admission merit list in due course of time. The merit list will be prepared by the colleges and schools on the basis of their performance in the HSLC/ AHM examination or merit base.
