The Assam government has unveiled its largest-ever recruitment initiative, aiming to fill approximately 35,000 vacancies across various departments by April 2025. Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma announced this exciting opportunity on July 9, 2024. Here are the key highlights:
- Assam Police: Over 6,400 vacancies will be filled, with physical tests scheduled to commence on October 3rd.
- ADRE Grade III & Grade IV Exam: Aspirants seeking Grade III and Grade IV positions will undergo a three-stage process: preliminary exams, mains, and a final viva voce.
- Preliminary exams for Grade III: September 15, 22, and 29.
- Preliminary exams for Grade IV: October 20 and 27.
- Teacher Recruitment: Plans to recruit more than 13,000 teachers for elementary and secondary schools are underway. Specific details will be released by the government soon.
- All recruitment drives and their respective exams (Prelims, Mains, Viva-Voce, Skill Test, or Physical Test) will be conducted by April 2025
